General Dentist

Emma believes a good appointment starts with a conversation. She takes her time, explains every step and is known for putting nervous patients at ease.

Emma studied dentistry in Amsterdam and has worked in general practice in The Hague for over a decade. She founded Luma Dental with the idea that a dental visit should feel calm, unhurried and understandable. Outside the clinic she cycles the dunes near Kijkduin.

Dr. Lucas de Jong

Dentist & Invisalign Provider

Lucas enjoys the planning side of dentistry — mapping out a treatment digitally and showing patients exactly where it is heading.

Lucas trained in Nijmegen and completed additional training in clear aligner therapy. He works with digital scanning and simulation so patients can see and understand the plan before starting. He is happiest explaining things at the screen, sketch in hand.

Sophie Meijer

Dental Hygienist

Sophie combines thorough cleaning with practical advice, always adapted to the routine you actually have rather than an ideal one.

Sophie has worked as a dental hygienist for eight years and has a particular interest in gum health. She is patient with sensitive teeth, works gently and makes sure you leave knowing exactly what to do at home.

We believe good dentistry starts with listening. Our team takes the time to explain your options and make sure you feel comfortable before treatment begins.

Dentists, hygienist and assistants discuss patients together, so advice stays consistent whoever you see. And if something is outside our expertise, we say so and refer you to a specialist we trust.
